"Humanitarian Homes"

Many things are happening in the world today. Several nations as of late have incurred devastation and one of them is the nation of Haiti.

Recently, it was brought to our attention that the Haitian community is in desperate need of shelters. An earthquake caused many villages and towns to be submerged under water, and as a result the need for shelters is immediate.

This is an opportunity for our shelters to be utilized, to bring healing, and hopes to so many in need in Haiti

Description

SeekaShelters are durable, and long lasting semi-permanent homes that can fit families up to 6 people.

The frame is galvanized steel, with polyethylene sheeting for the canopy. Polyethylene has a UV protectant which allows for long term sun exposure without breaking down. It is shaped in a semi-circle that deflects high wind speeds.

Currently each shelter is 3.6 meters long, by 3 meters wide, by 2.1 meters high, however these sizes can be adjusted to the needs that arise.

The colors at present are beige and green which suits the environmental climate of a nation, as well as its cultural heritage.

Benefits

Each shelter is individually boxed and is loaded in 20 ft containers ready for dispatch from Thailand. The use of one parcel alleviates loss of components, and is user friendly in erecting the home. Again the shelter is UV stabilized, the frame is galvanized which doesnt rust, and provides long term use.

Note: It is recommended that an aid agency or government institutions in each nation should have shelters on hand, ready to be dispersed as devastation occurs.
